This week, we say farewell to someone who has been a true cornerstone of our club for many years. Tony is retiring, and while we are incredibly happy for him and his family, it\u2019s hard not to feel the enormous significance of this moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tony is our longest\u2011serving staff member and has been with the club through it all\u2014multiple green builds, irrigation installations, invasive ant outbreaks, major storms, and plenty of good times in between. No matter the challenge, Tony was always there, playing a vital role in keeping the course and the club moving forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He has always been the true definition of a behind\u2011the\u2011scenes worker\u2014quiet, unassuming, and never one to seek the spotlight. Yet his impact could be seen and felt in every corner of the club. Known as our mechanic, Tony could fix just about anything. If it clicked, clunked, rattled, broke, or simply wouldn\u2019t behave, Tony was the one who brought it back to life. His ability to diagnose problems and solve them with calm efficiency became part of the club\u2019s rhythm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But perhaps Tony\u2019s greatest strength was the knowledge he carried. Decades of experience, steady judgement, and an unmatched understanding of the course and its operations made him an invaluable part of the team. He was someone you could always rely on\u2014quietly getting things done, making sure everything worked as it should, and never asking for recognition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tony leaves behind an indelible mark on our club. His service, loyalty, and dedication have shaped the course we all enjoy today. Replacing someone with his skill, knowledge, and humility will be incredibly difficult.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On behalf of our entire membership and staff, we extend our deepest thanks to Tony for all he has given to the club. We wish him and his family all the very best in retirement\u2014may it be filled with good health, happiness, and plenty of well\u2011earned relaxation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
