It is with deep sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Neville Johnston, a long-standing and cherished member of the Ballina Golf and Sports Club, at the age of 97.
Neville’s contributions to the club spanned decades. He was crowned Club Champion in 1957, a testament to his skill and dedication to the sport and served as Club Captain in 1958. He continued to serve the club with distinction, joining the committee in 1962 and later taking on the role of Club Secretary in 1984.
Neville will be remembered not only for his achievements but for the warmth and camaraderie he brought to the club. His legacy lives on in the memories of those who had the privilege to know him.

Funeral Details
Requiem Mass for the Repose of the Soul of Neville will be held at St Francis Xavier Catholic Church Ballina on Friday 7th November 2025, commencing at 1.30pm.
At the conclusion of the Mass, a private cremation will take place.
