Underwood’s steady play saw him pull away from the field over the final round, holding off a determined challenge from Matt Buckley (214). Underwood’s victory cements his reputation as one of Ballina’s most consistent performers.

Hamilton Holds Nerve for A Reserve Title
In A Reserve, Mal Hamilton emerged as champion after a tense duel with Steve Clarke. Hamilton’s total of 229 was enough to edge out Clarke (231), with both players trading the lead throughout the final round. Hamilton’s composure under pressure proved decisive as he claimed the A Reserve title.

Damen Breaks Through in B Grade
Tom Damen is the new B Grade champion, posting a total of 248 to finish two shots clear of Jasper O’Malley (250).

Dell Defends Title at Ballina Women’s Club Championship
Jane Dell has successfully defended her title, winning back-to-back Women’s Club Championships at Ballina Golf & Sports Club. Dell posted a total score of 243, holding off a strong challenge from Frankie Payne (248) to secure her second consecutive crown. Dell’s consistency and composure under pressure were key as she navigated the final round with a narrow lead.

Morgan Edges Keenan in B Grade Thriller
Linda Morgan emerged as the B Grade champion after a dramatic finish, carding a total of 269 to edge out Kathy Keenan by a single stroke (270). Morgan’s steady play in the closing holes proved decisive as she claimed the championship.
