Course Update – 3 Club Challenge (Back 9)
Due to current course conditions, tomorrow’s event will now be played as a “3 Club Challenge” over the Back 9 holes.
This will be a medley competition open to both men and women, with:
- Men playing from the white markers
- Women playing from the red markers
Conditions of Play:
- Walking only – no pull buggies permitted
- Carry bags allowed, or simply carry your three clubs
- Players must carry and use a sand bucket.
- A small bag for tees, balls, and a towel is recommended
- All bunkers are GUR (Ground Under Repair)
- The course is wet underfoot, so please wear appropriate footwear – golf shoes with cleats are strongly recommended
The timesheet will be wiped and reopened to members at 6:00 PM this evening.
A Three Club Challenge is a fun and unconventional golf format where each player is only allowed to use three clubs for the entire round (in your case, the back 9 holes). This includes your putter if you choose to bring one — so players must choose wisely!
Competition Fees – 3 Club Challenge
- Select (AGF), Life, Junior – $5.00
- Select (Non-AGF), Midweek, Intermediate 1 & 2 – $13.00
- Life and Country – $18.00
