TEMPORARY CLUB RULES & REGULATIONS IN LINE WITH THE LATEST NSW PUBLIC HEALTH ORDER

The NSW Government has released information concerning its Opening Road Map and Public Health Order to be implemented from 11th October.  A link has been provided in Members News to the NSW Government Website for the current up to date Covid-19 restrictions, rules, case locations and statistics. The Clear message is and has always been to encourage people who have not already done so, to get vaccinated.

The Board of the Ballina Golf and Sports Club has always made and will continue to make decisions relating to the Government regulations with the health and safety of our members, visitors, and staff a priority.

As of Monday, 11th of October 2021 the following restrictions will apply to entry into our Clubhouse including the Pro Shop until 16th December 2021.

  • Only members and visitors that have been double vaccinated will be able to enter the Clubhouse and Pro Shop. Exemptions will apply to children under the age of 16 and those who have a written medical exemption. We will require proof of double vaccination prior to entry to both.
  • Participation in golf, both competition and social, will only be available for those members and visitors who have been double vaccinated.
  • Members are encouraged to register their vaccination status with the Club. Registration details are available in Members News.
  • The Asian Green restaurant will trade as per normal hours.

Takeaway meals will be available for collection outside the front entrance of the clubhouse. Restaurant delivery service will also be available.

Members are encouraged to check the website regularly for the latest updates.

Like you, our staff will be adjusting to the new process, so please be patient and respectful when entering the clubhouse and pro shop.  Everyone’s safety is of the upmost importance.
