SUPERINTENDENT’S COURSE UPDATE

Dear Members

Currently exciting times with the reconstruction of the 4th green having commenced on Monday the 5th of July.

The temporary green is now in play and it is our expectation it will remain in play for the next couple of months.

The area has been cordoned off with temporary fencing for the safety of the general public, golfers and the contractors. We ask that you remain behind the fence at all times.

The area has been marked as a no play zone, which is the same as around the green keepers shed/buggy sheds, please follow the same directive.

The concrete paths have been put on hold during the 4th green project and a scheduled restart should recommence in early August.

The cart paths surrounding the 14th and 15th tee are in the cross hairs, both paths will be continuing down to the lady’s tees.

Following these two holes, we will continue the path around the back of 12th tee and complete the small stretch behind the 17th Green.

Members are requested to follow the directional signage during the project for your safety.

The course itself is holding up pretty well through the cooler periods. Greens have performed really well. The over sowing continues to improve providing us with true and consistent putting surface.

The two new fairway mowers have been held up due to the recent COVID out-breaks and it is unsure as to their delivery date. We will continue to monitor the situation and keep you informed.

Look forward to seeing you out there enjoying the course.
