Although there is a “grace period” until 30th June 2009, you will now incur a $10 late fee upon payment and if you play golf during the period of Saturday, 6th June and Tuesday, 30th June you will be required to pay a green fee.  The amount of the green fee will be the same as that of a Non-AGF member.

Also, if you have not paid your subscription, you will not be eligible to win any Membership Draws as you will not be financial.

Unfortunately, Motorised Carts will not be permitted until further notice due to the amount of moisture remaining in the surface and sub-surface.

At this stage, all play is to be COMPULSORY TEE-UP.

Draw for the19th June will now commence at $1,500 and will go up by $50 each week. 

Due to the unfortunate ferocity of the storms experienced, the golf course remains unfit for access until clearance has been given from our insurers. When access is granted, which we now anticipate will be perhaps Friday, 29th May 2009, we will be actively looking for volunteers to assist in the clean up of the course to get it back to a state fit for play.

There has been significant damage to the course with numerous trees brought down, many others have branches broken and suspended within the trees themselves. Not to mention a saturated course due to the unrelenting rainfall. Insurance assessors have inspected the course and approved work to commence.

Machinery for the clean up has arrived today, and we will have two independent tree service crews working on the course by Tuesday. With this in mind the course becomes a work site, subsequently the safety of members and guests is paramount. Please do not walk out on the course during this period.

We are constantly assessing the progress of the tree crews which is unfortunately not progressing as quickly as anticipated.  As a result, we can not at this stage determine when play on the course will resume, so there will be no play until further notice.

We will endeavour to get you out there swinging as early as possible, and members are urged to keep there eyes on the website and ears to the media through Paradise FM.

As the week progresses, we will keep you updated.

The Clubhouse remains open for business as usual and your support through this period is appreciated. 

We are in the process of organising a social and information night for this Saturday Night with Free Live Entertainment.  So ring your friends and come down to your Club and dance your golfing blues away.
